I love women. I love women with short hair. I love women with medium length hair. I especially love women with long flowing hair. Women with long hair have a beauty, a femininity, and a glory all their own. Even the Bible says so.

But if a woman has long hair, it is a glory to her.
    1 Corinthians 11:15 (NKJV)

Yes, I know there are some churches that make a big deal about long hair, ascribing great spiritual significance to it not being cut. For our purposes that is of no regard. I am simply referring to how it looks and I agree with St. Paul in Corinthians, long hair is glorious. It is feminine. And it is quite sexy.

Jesus had His own amazing encounters with woman with long, glorious thick hair.

Six days before the Passover, Jesus therefore came to Bethany, where Lazarus was, whom Jesus had raised from the dead. So they gave a dinner for him there. Martha served, and Lazarus was one of those reclining with him at table. Mary therefore took a pound of expensive ointment made from pure nard, and anointed the feet of Jesus and wiped his feet with her hair. The house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume. John 12:2 - 3 (ESV)

    Then in Luke we read

One of the Pharisees asked him to eat with him, and he went into the Pharisee's house and reclined at the table. And behold, a woman of the city, who was a sinner, when she learned that he was reclining at table in the Pharisee's house, brought an alabaster flask of ointment, and standing behind him at his feet, weeping, she began to wet his feet with her tears and wiped them with the hair of her head and kissed his feet and anointed them with the ointment. Luke 7:36 – 37 (ESV)

Interestingly, in both incidents there was protest. When Mary anointed Jesus feet Judas protested the waste. When the sinner woman did the same thing, the religious protested that an ungodly woman was touching a holy man, which they believed would defile him. Jesus accepted both acts of worship gladly. One was the act of a repentant sinner, the other a woman of God poured out her heart in love and adoration.
