    Muscular.

In a world full of Christians who are sadly overweight and under-fit, it is a joy and a pleasure to occasionally come across one who is thin, fit, and full of energy. Healthy is sexy and healthy can also mean somewhat muscular. This is a good thing.

The Bible tells us that our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit. A temple is a holy place so that clearly makes them sacred. And we are to glorify God in our bodies. The Bible says

Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

We glorify Him in our bodies most when they are free of excess fat and have become fit through hard work and/or exercise. Each of us wants to run our race to completion, and fulfill our destiny, living to the fullness of our days. I understand that not everyone wants a musculature as well defined as those depicted on this page, but we can let the beauty here inspire us to do better.
