This is how we were born, with an intact penis. It is not how all of us stay. According to a 2007 World Health Organization report worldwide approximately 30% of men over 15 years old have been circumcised. About 70% of those are Jewish and Muslim, nearly all of which have undergone the procedure for religious reasons. In North America about 80% of us are circumcised; worldwide 80% are au natural. Most Europeans are not cut.
This can be an emotional issue with many claiming that circumcision is child abuse. This is a claim I cannot support because God instituted the practice in the Old Testament. For New Testament Christians there is no such requirement.
One benefit to being cut is that there is less bacteria living on a circumcised penis, and there is a lower rate of disease. On the downside, there is much less sensitivity on the head of a cut cock. Both intercourse and masturbation are more pleasurable with more sensitivity. On the other hand, being cut and less sensitive might help a man last longer during intercourse.
Until the age of the internet I don’t remember ever seeing an uncircumcised penis. But I notice when the foreskin is pulled back, they don’t look that much different. But it sure would be nice to have the increased sensitivity!
