A Manifesto on Nudity
Why do some of us, men especially, always want to see people naked, without their clothes? Is it because we are base, vile, reprobate creatures with no respect for God or humanity? Or is it because this is a desire buried deep in the heart of the human race from our creation in the Garden of Eden and declared devious only by those who do not understand the purity and holiness of such things? There are several reasons why I believe the desire to be naked and to see others naked is normal, natural, and godly.
Genesis 2:25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.
God’s Original Intention
First, when I am nude I am dressed exactly as God originally intended. It was His plan that we spend our lives without clothing, and do so in each other’s company. He meant for us to regularly see each other naked; that we be able to freely appreciate the full beauty of His handiwork from head to toe, and everything in between.
This means it is normal and natural to see a woman’s breasts, bum, and pubic area. It is normal and natural to see a man’s penis, testicles and behind. God wanted these parts of His creation in full view so that they can be directly and purposefully admired and appreciated for the masterpiece that they are. And since a woman’s nipples when hard and a man’s penis when erect are normal and natural aspects of being male and female it only stands to reason that God expected these to be seen as well. Nothing was to be hidden behind multiple layers of cloth.
God Given Desire to Look
Second, God not only created our bodies to be seen, but put in us the desire to enjoy the view.
Many, especially men, chastise themselves because they continually feel “tempted” to look, and take a forbidden second look. They fail to realize that the desire to admire a woman’s figure was placed in our heart by the God who created it. And since God meant them to be seen even seeking out opportunities to satisfy this deep desire is perfectly normal.
The Image of God
Genesis 1:27 (NASB) God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.
Third, this is both a natural and spiritual hunger. Not only were we created to be naked we are made in God’s image from head to toe. The more we see of each other’s nakedness the more we see of the image of God in each other. Therefore, for those who understand God’s perspective, the desire to be naked and to admire and appreciate each other’s nudity, and find opportunities to do so, is not just God given, it is an expression of our desire for Him. We see more of God as we see more of each other and the more we see of each other the more we see of God. Therefore enjoying our own nudity and enjoying other people’s full, total, and complete nudity both in person and online draws us closer to Him. God fully approves because that is what He wanted us to do in the first place, see and savor the beauty of each other’s nude bodies.
Esthetic and Artistic Beauty
Fourth, the desire to look also comes out of an appreciation for the esthetic and artistic beauty of God’s creation, female and male, naked and unashamed. God did such a wonderful job it would be a waste not to look upon His artistry. All art is meant to elicit a response. At times our response to the beauty of God’s artistry is the simple enjoyment of human sexuality. When we see a woman we naturally notice the beauty of her face with its high cheekbone and her form with its gently curved bottom and breast, and we feel stirred. And we enjoy the view even more when she is naked. It is good and godly to savor what God made. So enjoy!
“It is Good!”
Fifth, God looked at Adam and Eve and declared “it is good.” God said that, not me. He said “it is good” when they were pure, innocent, and naked. Yes, for their protection in a fallen world full of thistles and thorns He clothed them, but never ever, not once, not even after their fall into sin, did He look at the glory of their physical form and declare “Now it is not good!” And neither should we. As a redeemed man of God I can look at the naked woman and the naked man and with a heart full of praise to the Lord for His marvelous artistry say, with God, “It is good.” And I do so without the slightest sense of wrongdoing or guilt.
Our Bodies are Holy
Sixth, I not only declare that “It is Good,” I declare that our bodies are holy. They are God artistic masterpiece, the crowning glory of His creation. A man’s naked body is glorious, a woman’s unclothed body is a thing of great splendor, spousal intimacy is a marvelous and magnificent mystery, and self stimulation is a gift from God to be enjoyed with both intent and delight.
Being Nude is Natural
It feels so good
because it is indicative
of God’s original intent.
We were not created
to wear clothes.
Seventh, we have the testimony of nature itself. Why does it feel so good when we come home and take off our clothes and slip into something loose and comfy, or even better, just stay nude? It feels so good because it is indicative of God’s original intent. We were not created to wear clothes. We were designed to be nude, our skin being the only thing necessary. So when we leave behind the artificiality of modern social norms and wear only what God gave us to wear our skin rejoices with a massive sigh of relief. Now it can breathe, connect with its environment, and not be restricted. This is life as God means us to live it.
This Site is All about God!
Hebrews 4:13 (NKJV) And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.
But this site is really not all about nudity and erotica. This site is really all about God. It is He who chose to make man and woman in their entire naked splendor. And it is He who declared that they are “made in His Image.” Since we all want to “see” more of God and to understand and enjoy Him more and more, does it not stand to reason that the more we see of that which is made “in His image” the more we will see of Him? God looked, and enjoyed what He saw. So we too can look, enjoy, and draw near to the great God and our glorious Savior who made it all.
Titus 1:15 (NASB) To the pure, all things are pure; but to those who are defiled and unbelieving, nothing is pure, but both their mind and their conscience are defiled.
The pure in heart do not see sin, or evil in the handiwork of God which is the nude human being; the pure in heart look at the naked body, and they see God.
